Before you write…
There’s a good chance someone else wondered the same thing. I’ve collected the questions that come up most often, from getting Modulate working to understanding what it can and can’t do.
Open the folder. Your answer might already be in there.
- Email the address above. It goes straight to the person who built Modulate, no ticket system in between.
- Reload the tab, then reopen the popup. Check the tab is actually playing audio. Try Reset All.
Still stuck? Email support → - Chrome extensions don’t run on mobile browsers, Chrome or otherwise. Use the "Send link to my computer" button on this site to pick it up later.
- Most often the tab isn’t actually producing audio yet, or the page needs a reload after installing. If a specific site never responds, email the URL and your Chrome version.
- No. Read the full privacy policy for specifics on what permissions are used for and why.
- Open the popup and use Reset All. It returns every tab’s volume and EQ to default in one click.
- Yes. Describe the problem you're trying to solve, not just the control you want. That context decides what gets built next.
